Shekou Area
There are several transportation methods you can choose from when traveling between Hong Kong and Shenzhen, such as the ferry, the train, the bus, the taxi, etc.
Shenzhen is a very long city in length, so if you are coming to the western part, the easiest way from Hong Kong is to choose the ferry to arrive at the Shekou ferry port directly. I’ll enclose the ferry schedule information in my blog for your convenience.

There is also another convenient route for passengers who fly into Hong Kong and are taking an immediate flight out to an inland city from the Shenzhen Airport. They can take the ferry from HK international Airport to the Fuyong ferry port. From there it is only about a 10 minute drive by taxi to the Shenzhen Airport. Then you can catch a flight to anywhere from the Shenzhen Airport. It will save you a lot of money compared to catching a flight to an inland city from Hong Kong directly. The schedules are as below.

- Shenzhen Bay Bridge between Shenzhen and Hong Kong
You can also take train, subway and buses to travel between HK and Shenzhen. The customs has been changed and is now open 24 hours a day. Also, we now have a new customs at the Shenzhen Bay area around Shekou. It is very convenient for our neighbors around Shekou when they go to Hong Kong, not to be limited by the ferry schedule. We can go anytime we want. That’s what we need. The government also offered a lot of services and guidance.
