This month’s product spotlight goes out to Tal Soltz and her bkr glass water bottle. Tal and co-founder Kate Cutler created bkr with the inspiration of modern art, design and high fashion and because they think green products should be creative and beautiful. The bottle is made from glass because glass is the ultimate green and clean material. It doesn’t smell of every drink you ever put in it, leach chemicals or have the taste of a metal camping accessory.
I really love this product because it addresses one of the world’s most severe and yet easily solvable environmental problems, all the waste of plastic and gas (due to transportation) from drinking from disposable water bottles. And it does so in such a cool way!
It’s been a real pleasure working with Tal and being a part of her diligence to get her product out there and take it to the national stage. We’re proud to say that the first shipment of silicone sleeves, caps and bottles are safely in her warehouse and waiting for the big launch.
