Natural Time Collection- Ebony Wood Watches

ChoicesThe ‘Natural Time Collection’ are a series of unique, minimalist watches made from natural materials that ‘stand out yet remain subtle’.

The striking cases are designed in three different sizes and made from high quality, sustainable materials including a rich ebony wood for the face and frame that shows off a fine, detailed grain. The straps come in a range different colors allowing you to express your style, and the whole thing evokes a feel of natural minimalism and eco-friendly design.

The Place at the Right Time…

Twigs Woodwear are a small team that aim to bridge the gap between style and natural living. They have always been fans of design, but the idea for the new watch in particular came from Cade Mangelson while on a trip with his wife Taelor.

‘A while ago I took a trip with my wife and family to our cabin out in Farmington, Utah.’, remembers Cade. ‘I was playing a guitar that was made of ebony wood and the idea of an ebony wood watch just hit me. As soon as we got home from that trip we got to work. My wife Taelor and I came up with the straps and I chopped the case as much as I could. It’s the bobber of wood watches!’

Now the project is on Kickstarter where it has already exceeded its goal with $16,828 raised of an initial $15,000 target. There are 15 days to go, so there’s still time to get involved if you’re a fan of the minimal look.

This isn’t the team’s first product though: Twigs Woodwear already have a range of items available from their website. They credit the support of their previous backers and customers with their success; after aiming at extreme sports enthusiasts they subsequently expanded to cover a range of markets and have enjoyed one hit after another since then.

‘That’s the cool thing about wood,’ muses Cade, ‘it’s pretty universal!’
