Mist 'R Bucket
Looking for a new way to beat the heat? Then ‘Mis ‘R Bucket’ may be able to provide you with a solution.
Mist ‘R Bucket is a portable misting system that provides a cool and refreshing mist to make even the hottest day much more bearable. If you’re going to be watching your kids on sports day, playing sports yourself, hanging out at a festival, or hosting a garden party – this provides a great way to stay cool and fresh.
The Mist ‘R Bucket provides 10 gallons of capacity, a rechargeable battery that lasts up to six hours and boasts an easy set-up time. Just clip the nozzles to your canopy and you’ll be basking in cool mist. The project is currently raising money on Kickstarter, but where did it all start?
A Fateful Summers Day
The idea comes from business partners James Blake and Jeff Andrews who describe themselves as ‘do it yourself kind of guys’. They’re both self-employed with over 30 years of experience working with custom fabrication and were inspired to create the Mist ‘R Bucket from personal experience as James explains…
‘It was a blazing 112 degrees day back 2009 when the idea of the Mist’R Bucket hit us. It was the 4th of July at Lake Havasu in Arizona and our EzUp Canopy was giving us little to no relief from the scorching heat. In an attempt to get some relief, we decided to take the boat out and cruise the river. Technically, the temperature on the boat was cooler, but the blistering air that was blowing on us offered no relief.
‘Then fate stepped in. A good friend of ours, Catherine, was standing at the front of the boat. She decided to share some mist with us from a spray bottle she was using to keep herself cool. As she began to spray the mist into the air, it was carried by the wind to the back of the boat. When the mist blanketed us, I can honestly say that it was by far the most refreshing and invigorating sensation that I had ever felt in my life! In any event, that moment was sopowerful it sparked the idea we now know as ‘Mist’R Bucket’.'

Currently they’ve raised $3,527 of a $250,000 goal and have 24 days left to go.
