Thanks to Loud Bicycle, Cycling in the Busy Traffic is About to Get Safer!

Are you sick and tired of putting your life and health at risk every time you are out on the road riding your bicycle? Are the dangerous maneuvers performed by unaware drivers getting on your nerves?

Traffic nowadays cannot exactly be considered safe for the cyclists, considering the high number of automobiles and the limited protection features of the standard biLoud Bicycle Horn on Full Bikecycle equipment. However, what you can do is alert the drivers of your presence and prevent them from bumping into you. Unfortunately, the standard bicycle horn isn’t nearly as efficient as it should.

The good news though is that a bike horn capable of emulating the sounds of an automobile horn is currently under development. The “Loud Bicycle”, as the Kickstarter project is dubbed, constitutes an excellent way to automatically trigger the reflexes of a driver by producing a highly familiar sound. Its creator, Lansey, is a seasoned engineer with an impressive technical background as well as has a diehard passion for cycling. That is why this horn represents not only an innovative solution for improving traffic safety, but also a brilliantly designed piece of technology. Let’s summarize the main features of the Loud Bicycle:

  • The sound volume of the Loud Horn is 112 Db.
  • The pitch as well as the sound output simulates a car horn perfectly.
  • The dimensions of the Loud Horn are 6 by 4.5 by 4 inches (largest extent) and it weighs 23 ounces.
  • Constructed from water resistant silicone rubber.
  • Functions on rechargeable Lithium Ion accumulators that only have to be charge every one or two months.
  • Attaches seamlessly to the bike’s handlebar on either side.

Loud Bicycle could definitely represent a safety boost for cyclists because automobile drivers are “conditioned” to respond faster to a car horn and also because the risk of them not hearing the honking sound is eliminated, thanks to its 112 Db volume. In fact, these devices could be attached to not just bicycles but a plethora of vehicles or transporters, including strollers.Loud Bicycle horn not attached to bike

Another plus point of the product may stem from its weather resistant capabilities โ€“ design and material wise โ€“ which would enable you to operate it at full potential, come hell or high water, so as to speak. At the same time, the Loud Bicycle should be able honk continuously for approximately 30 seconds if necessary, although it can be hard to think of a situation when you would actually have to produce honking sounds for that long! To put it simply, this miniature, lightweight and convenient device would confer the bicycle the same edge in traffic as an automobile!
