The Unlace Strip Won't Let You Untangle Life's Problems On Your Own!

Tangled cables are arguably one of the biggest problems of modern society and probably should be one of the top priorities on the list of the UN. However, it would seem that the leaders of the world’s nations are one step behind Dante and Cindy, the creators of an original and fully functioning prototype that might just solve the crisis of the tangled cables once and for all.Unlace multiple colors

Their invention โ€“ the Unlace โ€“ is essentially a multifunctional, multicolored strip constructed from silicone and rubber compounds that, once you wrap around the cables, will prevent them from getting tangled. And, as you will find out in a bit, the Unlace can perform several other functions as well. Let’s review the specs of the product in short:

  • A shoelace like design that comes in several attractive tones (white, yellow, black, purple orange, grey, blue, green).
  • Made from silicone rubbers.
  • The Unlace has 2 sizes (5 inch for thinner cables and 10 inch for robust cables).
  • The strip is bendable, but it will maintain the shape you set it in.
  • The ribbed surface of the Unlace ensures the cables are fastened in place.

While the gravity of the tangled cables might have been slightly exaggerated, the truth is that it will happen and it will get on your nerves every single time. I don’t really know what’s worse, the fact that you spend 5-10 minutes (if you’re lucky) untangling the cables or the inevitable damage of the internal wiring caused by the twisting and turning. Until the point when absolutely all technology becomes wireless, bunched-up cables constitute an inescapable part of life and we were due for a solution.

One of the things I really like about Unlace is the ability of the ribbed surface to keep the cables knots at bay without tearing the insulation, a problem that smaller cables are susceptible to when Unlace computer cord bundledusing things like wire ties. Unlace also doesn’t snap back and break like a rubber band, giving that shocking tinge of pain, when trying to wrap it around just one more time. The fact that rubber bands are still a common go-to device for our hi-tech cables illustrates just how overdue a solution has been.

Another great feature I enjoy about the 10 inch version of the unlace is that I can use it to shrink the dimensions of the power cords, so they no longer just stand around the house acting as tripwire mines. In addition, the nature of the strip allows you to mold it into different shapes. Therefore, you can make it into an upright smartphone stand, a cord for your glasses, a bracelet and virtually anything your mind can imagine.

In conclusion, if you are sick of tangled cables, you can support the project on their Kickstarter page!
